(S7) Simple Lil' Punch

$12.00
Hand-Forged blacksmith’s punch, applicable to many projects and jobs.

This is offered in 3/8” S7 Tool steel, with an annealed striking end to save your hammer from excessive damage, and hard working end.

For clarity: the tip is ground and then forge-finished + hardened, as forging such a small delicate tip accurately would be foolhardy. This doesn’t change the functionality of the tools whatsoever, it just ables me to offer at a lower price.

Striking end has rounded corners to further prevent hammer damage, a tooling-dedicated hammer is still recommended.

Approximate Length is 6”.

The working face is polished for easy of use.

These (aswell as all of my tools) are finished with ZH Fabrication’s “Forge Finish Wax”, a minimal yet rust-resistant coating.

*please be sure to quench your tool after a few seconds of contact with heated metal (as you would with any tool) to ensure it's longevity*

Depending on materials available, I may size your tool up (but never down) while maintaining the same sized working-end.

These are handmade to order in my small Arizona shop, every tool will be slightly different :)
